About the team:

 

Fundamental Library is seeking a committed User Interface(UI) Designer intern, that is looking forward to tackle the challenges of rapid growth and success in the space of Fundamental Library. Concretely, the candidate You will work as part of and collaborate closely with a development team on meaningful projects and gain invaluable experience as you work. The team is developing Fiori components in Angular. Working closely with the team, the candidate will define and continuously evolve the SAP documentation.

What you’ll do:

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - User Interface Designer
Location: Montreal, Quebec
Expected start date to end date: January - April 2022


In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Learn to be an active member of a self-empowered team producing design artifacts and software using Agile methods and practices and engineering-driven decisions
  • Learn to contribute to the team effort with innovative and creative ideas
  • Learn the processes necessary to contribute to the development of an enterprise software product
  • Design of components, screen layouts, typographic expression, icons and other basic UI graphical resources elements to support identification of actions, objects, status information and UI properties.
  • Design and deliver high contrast elements to support product accessibility.
  • Provide feedback and solutions for interactive flows, design basic forms and reports in accordance with SAP technology and UI standards.
  • Expected outcomes are effective and efficient user interfaces where the user task flow is primarily serial in nature.
  • Creation of high-fidelity user interface prototypes for simple product modules.
  • This professional has knowledge of SAP and best practice visual design, corporate visual identity and branding standards and standard graphic design software tools (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe XD, Zeplin, Invision).

 

Who you are:

 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

 

  • Must have good verbal and written English
  • Must be comfortable working in highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
  • Must have a passion for delivering high-quality design artifacts.
  • Capable of creation of high-fidelity user interface prototypes for simple product modules
  • Capable of design of components, screen layouts, typographic expression, icons and other basic UI graphical resources elements
  • Exposure collaborating very closely with others in an Agile team environment
  • Exposure to using Photoshop, Adobe XD, Zeplin, Invision, Sketch
  • Must be a student currently enrolled in a bachelor, master or JD/PhD program
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program which is applicable to the position.
