What you'll do

Threat intelligence, or cyber threat intelligence, is information an organization uses to understand the threats that have, will, or are currently targeting the organization. In the context of this internship, we plan to use this information in order to prevent data leaks, or to identify a data leak and remedy it.
At SAP we developed a tool called Credential Digger that identifies hardcoded secrets including non structured tokens like passwords. This tool is currently le most precise scanner to identify non structured secrets, thanks to the machine learning models developed to precisely identify this kind of tokens. The candidate will join the R&D team working on the enhancement of this tool.
In the above-described context, the specific goals of the internship are as follows:
 • Develop several modules that will capture various kind of data
 • Integrate the new modules into existing projects
 • Develop user friendly UI
 • Write tests and release new software versions
 • Maintain tools and interact with a community
We expect that 30% of time will be dedicated to research activities, and 70% to development.
