SUMMARY
The SAP Cloud Success Services (CSS) Office is responsible for creating the vision and future of the SAP success services , anchoring our to-be in the cloud market context of the changing perception of technology as a value-driver, whilst ensuring customer success for our existing customers. The team manages the interface into our customers and sets up the rest of our Services organization for success.

 

THE ROLE
The Head of the PE Delivery Management will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of all delivery engagements under the office of Premier Engagement services
  • Ensure deliveries as per SOW and delivered within project financials and profitability
  • Revenue management and Forecast Management
  • Delivery risk management, Team management and skill management
  • Delivery portfolio Transformation and Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise and cloudification of customer portfolio 
  • Active support in entire presales and Delivery Engagement
  • Ensuring realization of the sector margin targets 
  • Structure, development and effective management of a strong PE  team in the Regions and SAP Engagement Visions, analyses, prioritizes facilitates and manages practice activities on a national scale
  • Develop and manage practice growth and skill sets of the team
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e., Focus Groups, FSP Moderators, Mentoring, Education, etc.)
  • Realization of Region Deliverables including Customer Sat score, Balanced Score Card  and customer referencability
  • Forecasting and Coordination of project staffing in close contact with Resource Management teams
  • Support Field Service-Related Systems and other Internal systems (i.e. Portal and servers operating)
  • Responsible for managing internal engagements and Identifying of training needs for strategic areas
  • Financial Management Reporting based on Utilization, Forecast, and Budgeting

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Key Competencies For the role:

  • The Ideal candidate would have over 15 years of experience with in project delivery or similar service delivery engagement and specific management experience leading large scale transformation and change engagement. 
  • Transformational Leader: Capable of running a sizeable P&L, and conversant across managing complex project deliveries. Ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels, as well as see and articulate the bigger picture including the ability to manage a Market Unit on an interim basis if required. 
  • Strong, Positive & Motivational leader: Proven management skill of multi-cultural and multinational teams/organizations in various domains. Have a demonstrable record of leadership integrity. Must be able to leverage diverse strengths, share knowledge, create and celebrate team’s success
  • Drive for Simplicity: Operational rigor and delivery excellence by creating and implementing ways to simplify the organization.
  • Operational & Delivery Excellence: Ability to consistently achieve predictable results and exceed targets while maintain system hygiene and revenue forecasting. Proactive risk management across the delivery portfolio ensuring that we deliver profitable engagements
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Proven expertise in managing customer escalations, co-innovation engagement and projects. Be comfortable working at the most senior levels of SAP’s client organizations, commonly in or around the boardroom. Have sound knowledge of the SAP market and competition; a strong negotiator who has experience in ensuring customer success and reference - ability as well as supporting profitability targets.
  • Strong Network & Collaboration Skills: Have experience of managing effectively in a networked and matrixed team environment. Strong network with SAP MU colleagues, especially sales, consulting, presales, and P&I to implement scaling process for product adoption.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Highly skilled in stakeholders’ management and C-Level communications skills. Proven ability to speak to large external audiences on customer conventions.
  • You have a strong customer and outcome orientation with a proven track record in delivering results. Preferred experience in prior P&L management in a service providing organization.
