SUMMARY

SAP Signavio  is looking for an experienced Frontend (JavaScript) Engineer to help us build the future of our Business Transformation Suite.
We are looking for people who share our passion for creating products that people love to use. To thrive in this role you are someone who works well in teams, enjoys collaborating and appreciates the importance of communication and feedback.

What You'll Do

• Develop new UI components in JavaScript, predominantly with React.JS
• Work directly - and improve - one of our three products. Expected to tackle complex and large scale challenges
• Help to keep a large SPA maintainable
• Improve our technology stack and development processes 
• Be end-to-end responsible for the product
• Review the work of your teammates and support them
• Maintaining UX consistency by contributing to our design system
• Looking beyond Frontend Development in attending to CI/CD tasks is beneficial
• Openness to learning and looking beyond Frontend Development is beneficial 
   

What You'll Bring

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript programming, preferably using React
• Ability to build accessible user interfaces
• The drive to understand the needs of our customers
• Experience in using Git
• Experience with TDD 
• Experience mentoring junior team-members
• Very good communication skills in English 
• Kubernetes knowledge would be advantageous

The Platform Group is one of five groups in the engineering department of the SAP Signavio unit. We value consistency, modularity & re-usability, as well as simplicity. We strive for a coherent user experience across the entire product suite and an effective & efficient cross-product development experience. To this effect, our teams provide and advance 1) the hub and framework of our product suite along with shared services, as well as  2) fundamental building blocks such as Cloud infrastructure.
