Purpose and Objective:  
Ariba Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our New York, NY location and various client sites nationwide to drive business process consulting by translating customer business processes into IT solutions, including quality assurance.


Expectations and Tasks: 
Help position disruptive business innovation. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Support end-to-end solution design across all relevant solutions (OnPremise, Cloud and Hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of SAP Model Companies for specific area of business. Demonstrating profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools. Support of pre-sales activities. Performance of feasibility studies / solution reviews. Support in escalated projects. Takes responsibility from time to time as team lead and supports respective line manager(s) in people development tasks. Delivers customer workshops and trainings. 70% travel required to various client sites nationwide.   


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required.  The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 year of experience. 


Work Experience: 
Experience must include 4 years in: Ariba Procure to Pay Processes and the Ariba Object Model; Functional knowledge in design and build of Ariba features for business processes; Ariba Applications Integration - Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Supplier Life Cycle, Contract and Sourcing with ERPs using different integration methods like Integrated Tool Kit, Webservices methods; Ariba Commerce Automation configurations of Ariba Network to SAP Business Suites; implementing of Ariba Buying and Invoicing, Ariba Catalogs, Ariba Contracts with multiple ERP systems; ERP cycle with relation to  Procurement process and Analytics; API interfacing with Ariba Applications along with building solution for different Tax scenarios for procurement processes (webservices/ file method); Application Implementations and Rollouts including Business Requirement Gathering, Design, Build, Testing processes and support in the User Community as a Subject Matter Expert in Procure to Pay process adhering to Procurement , Information Technology and Security Policies of multiple business firms. 70% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
