About the team
The Global Ecosystem and Midmarket Marketing team works with SAP’s key software solution partners to support SAP’s ecosystem, revenue, and growth aspirations with innovative partner marketing, engagement, and empowerment. We create great partner experiences, extend the company’s brand and reach to more customers, and help build the pipeline.
We are truly a Global Marketing team.

What you’ll do
Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Partner Marketing
Location: New York City, NY or Remote/Virtual US
Expected Start Date: July 2022
Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months
The team is looking for a highly motivated, self-starter to join the team. Successful candidates will support the marketing operations and processes for onboarding partners into the SAP Endorsed Apps program. SAP Endorsed Apps are a new category of solutions from SAP's partner ecosystem designed to help customers become best-run, intelligent enterprises.
Software Marketing’s objective is to provide consultative and high-touch marketing support for SAP Endorsed Apps partners and includes content creation, social media, thought leadership, events, and demand generation. You will gain exposure to various global teams across SAP Marketing and partner organizations. You will be involved in discussions regarding demand planning, marketing plans, and marketing impact measurements (key marketing KPIs).
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Help refine and update the onboarding guide for partners
- Help refine and update the internal onboarding guide for Partner Marketing Managers (PMM)
- Support the effort to create a framework and best practices to support partners, enabling PMM’s to scale
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing team to support digital marketing programs for partners across the buyers’ journey to increase awareness, customer engagement, demand generation and pipeline
- Support the creation of external customer references and other co-branded assets
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Educational requirements: 2+ years of university experience or recent graduate
- Marketing major
- Desired skills/experience to be successful in this role
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Some business or marketing experience
- Monitoring and measuring campaign results and outcomes
- Researching and proposing new marketing tactics to help improve marketing outcomes/KPIs.
- Ability to gather knowledge on new subject matter from across a range of sources and stakeholders
- Experience working with remote global teams
