Product Management Lead: Retail Execution / Retail Activity Optimization

Your Responsibilities

 

As the product management leader for Retail Execution / Retail Activity Optimization (Senior Director), you are highly motivated, multi-disciplined Product Manager, team  player with a the CPG industry and its related technology to define and build products that are valuable to our partners on the side of customers as well as the ecosystem.

 

  • Drive the vision, roadmap planning, continuous ranking of backlog of SAP Retail Execution cloud services
  • Align and publish the set vision, mission and strategy, of the product to be owned. 
  • Collaborate with partners in engineering and UX to design and deliver features that expand current market adoption. 
  • Frequently talk to customers across various industries and regions to determine what’s needed to build and/or enhance the best product in the market 
  • Prepare, publish, demo, and present the product domain internally, on social media and in customer-facing events 
  • Communicate and share roadmap updates to key stakeholders, Sales, Support, Product 
  • Marketing and other internal SAP groups worldwide 
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommendation on new Ideas by tracking comments and usage of the products, identifying and prioritizing improvements. 
  • Stay current with Product Management industry best practices.

 

 

Your Experience 

 

  • Minimum 8 years Product Management experience, preferably with enterprise software experience. 
  • Proven track record building new software applications on-time with exceptional quality. Should be able to share examples. 
  • Construction of epics, stories or Product Requirements Document (PRD). Should be able to share examples 
  • Deep understanding of overall product lifecycle and Product Management artifacts 
  • Ability to work with developers, QA, UX, Technical Support, Sales, and Consulting. 
  • Strong team player. 
  • Good understanding on the importance of UX and work equally well with designers and can prioritize and drive toward highly usable, well-designed solutions with clear UX standards. 
  • Domain expertise [Must] Consumer Industries applications, large scale cloud platform/s development in agile/scrum, microservices architecture with clear product boundaries. 
  • Domain expertise [Advantage]: Retail Execution, CRM,
  • Education: Bachelor’s in business, computer science or equivalent - mandatory. 
  • Global: Readiness to occasionally travel abroad, ability to work closely with multiple locations, cultures, and time zones.
