SUMMARY

Drive revenue growth across the Mid-Market via development and implementation of sales either directly or through joint sales with partners. Implement the Land-Adopt-Consume-Expand engagement model for all relevant Midmarket sales scenarios to ensure a world-class orchestration of all critical Customer Success roles.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop sales motions  to penetrate the Mid-Market segment; put an increasing emphasis on digital sales motions for targeting the “Indirect” customer segment
  • Set Strategy and GTM for the Mid-Market
  • Orchestrate all critical customer success roles (own and partner) in a world class manner for all relevant Mid-Market sales scenarios
  • Identify, attract and retain channel partners (e.g., VARS) to join forces for serving Mid-Market customers along the Land-Adopt-Consume-Expand journey
  • Influence the implementation of Mid-Market sales models in regions.
  • Partner with Marketing on demand management and digital sales tools
  • Build capability for channel partners and commercial sales resources (e.g., enablement)
  • Closely align with LoB and regional leaders to ensure consistent go-to-market orchestration
  • Drive market coverage and business forecasting for commercial sales and indirect channel business
  • Continuous development and improvement of the digital sales motion

 

EXPERIENCE & ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Led a sales & customer success department in a software company
  • Demonstrated the ability to successfully sell into the SME segment at a leading software player
  • Demonstrated the ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships with channel partners
  • Successfully implemented a sales engagement model change in a sales department of a software company
  • Demonstrated the ability to develop innovative digital sales motions
  • Exceptional leadership sales skills allowing for steering of Mid-Market and channel partners
  • Excellent change management skills to foster adoption of the Land-Adopt-Consume-Expand engagement model
  • Ability to influence and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of outbound and indirect sales motions within the Midmarket segment
  • Good knowledge of state-of-the-art digital sales motions
  • Profound business understanding of Sales, Customer Success and Services in cloud context
  • Candidate ideally has a rich network in relevant thought leader communities
  • Global Sales experience
