Within ISBN Marketing & Solutions, marketers and solution managers create a differentiated and meaningful value proposition that connects the needs of the market to SAP’s portfolio of products and services. We are the bridge between our Product Engineering and Customer Success groups, providing thought leadership, clarity on target audiences and related opportunity, strategic and effective market messaging and the orchestration of our overall business growth plan.  We measure our success by our ability to develop relevant, market leading solution strategies and corresponding creative, innovative marketing strategies that, together, gain audience mindshare, establish SAP as a market leader and ultimately, drive business success and portfolio growth that support our revenue ambition.

 

The Head of ISBN Commercialization owns the orchestration of end-to-end processes that take our solution strategies from concept to field readiness.  This leader will partner with the various Market strategy leaders and sub-solution owners to drive commercialization and field enablement of ISBN products and services while also working collaboratively with other leaders within ISBN as well as the broader SAP community.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with SAP Global Pricing, Product Engineering, Field Learning & Enablement, Customer Success and ISBN Marketing & Solutions peers to define and execute a robust, end-to-end commercialization process.
  • Consult with ISBN sub-solution CROs on definition of guidelines for sales bag structure and sales plays to support the solution area growth plan
  • Collaborate with the ISBN Marketing & Solutions Leadership team to plan and prioritize commercialization initiatives in support of the overall ISBN business growth plan.
  • Plan and deliver Office of the CMSO strategic initiatives and special projects.
  • Define and execute a cadence of review processes, in partnership with Finance and Operations, to validate effectiveness of GTM and pricing strategies.
  • Work in partnership with the Head of Business Models and Monetization to deliver the most effective business models and pricing strategies for ISBN products and services.
  • Drive consideration to partner/ channel (ISV / SOLEX) Go-to-Market options in collaboration with ISBN Marketing & Solutions peers, ISBN CRO, CPO and the SAP Global Partner organization.
  • Work collaboratively across a global, matrixed organization to build alignment on strategic direction and required investment and to ensure successful execution of the growth plan.

 

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of Sales Operations, Go-To-Market, Pricing or Sales Strategy Consulting/Management Consulting experience in a cloud environment.  Experience in Procurement, Contingent Workforce or B2B networks highly desired.
  • Industry / ecosystem awareness to understand and capitalize on pricing / commercialization trends to drive portfolio differentiation and growth.
  • Track record of success driving commercialization strategy and processes and an ability to work through ambiguity.
  • Ability to lead, manage and inspire teams. Proven people manager that can create high performing teams.
  • Experienced communicator, capable of influencing at the CXO and Board level of large public companies.  Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaborator who can manage up, across and within the organization, working with teams such as Product Engineering, Customer Success, Global Pricing and Learning & Enablement.
  • Experience using data to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making
  • Proven capabilities in evaluating operational gaps and inefficiencies

 

Location is flexible with a slight preference for NA and EMEA.
