Purpose and Objective:  
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location responsible for developing and providing systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provide the expert support in operations.

 

Expectations and Tasks:
Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. Execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews. Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize and develop enhancements. Implement the solutions and provide technical documentation. Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement. Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks. 10% travel required.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and 5 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.

 

Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 3 years in the following: SAP Master Data Management Domain in multiple system landscape including CRM, ERP, S/4HANA, ARIBA, MDG, Learning Solution and SAP’s cloud portfolio, along with the knowledge of available products & services and how they work seamlessly with each other; Gathering functional requirements from stake holders/customers and translate them technically to create software design and architecture concept design documents; SAP tools and technologies such as BDT, XO, CVI Synchronization Framework, ABAP, ABAP-OO, SAPUI5 to extend the Master Data functionality by designing and enhancing the User Interface, backend API’s and developing SAP Fiori Applications; Replication of Master Data using SAP services such as SAP BDOCS, SAP IDOCS, SAP CRM Middleware for the successful replication of Master data between multiple connected systems such as SAP CRM, ERP, S/4HANA, C/4HANA, Hybris; Successfully onboarding Master Data before the legacy system can be migrated to SAP S/4HANA systems using SAP’s migration interfaces such as Migration Cockpit tool, LSMW, Precheck Upgradation and Automation tool; Creating and Implementing BADI, BAPI and Exit Points in Master Data Management Domain to give customers a placeholder to implement the custom logic; Implementing data cleansing reports, transactions and BAPI to successfully compare, include and merge redundant Master Data records (potential duplicates) across system landscape;  Evaluating existing Master Data quality in the system and prevent creation of duplicates for increased effectiveness and efficiency by reusing, remodeling and reprogramming the existing custom logic; Using Data Integration Framework to integrate the external service providers successfully to collect the accurate and comprehensive commercial Master Data from different reliable data sources; Creating and maintaining SAP Enterprise Search Help Connectors and Modeler configurations for faster and reliable search of Master Data; and using DPP_CHECKER tool, RAL tool to comply existing Master Data with legal regulations and public standards such as data privacy. 10% travel required.
