Incident Response Service Owner - Newtown Square, PA

 

SUMMARY

 

We are looking for an Incident Response (IR) Service Owner to join the SAP Global Security Operations team to keep the IR Analysts and IR Investigators always prepared to respond to cyber threats. As an Incident Response Service Owner, you will enable increased focus on critical areas within the IR Team.

 

THE ROLE

 

As the Incident Response Service Owner, you will monitor and evaluate the performance of vendor engagements to maximize return on investment, build bridges and maintain relationships with the Lines of Businesses (LOBs/Product Groups) and develop, track, and consistently improve executive-level metrics for program performance.

 

You will ensure the IR Team has the necessary security tools and resources to be effective, and author and execute tabletop exercises between the IR Team and the LOBs.  You will be responsible for managing the Incident Response Plan and Crisis Management Plan, as well as draft appropriate processes and procedures for the IR Team. 

 

You will also support major incident activities and drive IR process improvements making IR easier to engage, faster to respond, more efficient in analysis.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Security certification (e.g. CISSP, GSEC, GCIH)
  • Minimum of 7+ years working in a 24/7 operational environment (Cyber Intelligence Fusion Center or Security Operations Center)
  • Proven vendor management and process improvement leadership
  • Expert knowledge of TTP methods and frameworks
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead meetings and engage stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical expertise, close attention to detail, excellent critical thinking, logic, and solution orientation and to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
