The Global Services Sales Operations and GTM team drives strategic programs, sales enablement, corporate communications, and performance management reporting for the Global Services Sales organization. The team’s focus is designing and maintaining a globally-integrated Go-To-Market model, as well as drive both operational and sales programs across lines of Service for all regions.

We are seeking an MBA student to join our Services Sales Operations team as a Corporate Communications Intern.  As part of this team, the Communications Intern will collaborate with stakeholders to develop content, including information gathering, writing and editing copy, creating and editing images, and posting content to various internal and external channels.  This high performer will be able to take complex information and translate it into simple but compelling communications that drive business impact.

Success on this team requires the ability to quickly adapt to the culture and values of the Services Sales Business, rapidly ramp up on in-flight programs, build influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and work effectively to help balance different priorities. Understanding the levers to effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment is crucial.

This MBA internship opportunity is intended to be a six to twelve-month engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive communications support by working with senior leadership to rapidly source and draft meaningful and impactful content
  • Implement communications strategies and programs that foster learning and employee engagement across our global sales community
  • Apply expertise in leveraging both digital and non-digital channels to manage global communications and drive awareness
  • Establish a clear communication cadence that aggregates and organizes GTM and sales program information with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proactively contribute to the creation, improvement, and maintenance of various program and sales materials
  • Drive cross-functional change management activities in support of communication programs
  • Act as a Global Services Sales liaison across a matrixed, global Services business to ensure aligned communication

Candidate Requirements

  • Elite oral and written communication abilities
  • Strong editorial skills with confident communication and project management abilities
  • Possess journalist-quality writing abilities to create pitches, infographics, newsletters, and other digital sales content
  • Previous graphic web design experience required in support of a broader communications responsibility
  • Ability to project manage and prioritize efforts to achieve communication deadlines
  • Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and best practices
  • Comfortable and effective at pulling together cross functional teams and build strong, trusted relationships with global stakeholders
  • Previous work experience on a virtual team; comfortable with managing virtual stakeholders
  • Previous work experience supporting a global organization and working interculturally
  • Conversational familiarity with software industry norms and practices
  • Language skills: excellent English mandatory
  • Flexibility to accommodate global time zones on occasion
  • Software skills: MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • At least two-three years of previous work experience in professional office environment
  • Availability: at least 20 hours/week during school year, 40 hours/week during academic breaks
  • Currently registered in an accredited MBA program
  • Authorized to work in the United States
