This position will be hired into SAP Litmos, which will become an independent company under Francisco Partners in December 2022.

Job Description 

The Litmos Marketing Team Lead is accountable for leading an end-to-end marketing team to drive awareness and meet pipeline targets for SAP Litmos as a part of the HXM portfolio.


The Litmos Marketing Team Lead will oversee and make strategic decisions on SAP Litmos promotional, advertising and demand generation plans to drive sales and build brand awareness. Responsibilities include developing an overall marketing strategy and ensuring the team is building and execution on a plan to meet targets, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods.



· Lead Marketing team to success – Coach and mentor a team of marketers executing the brand, digital, campaign, social media, event, content and customer marketing activities.

· Align with the Litmos sales and go-to-market leadership team on business goals and priorities.

· Oversee content creation, brand creation/maintenance, product marketing, customer marketing, digital strategy, etc.

· Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies

· Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective

· Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market. Stay current on latest marketing practices and be willing to experiment.

· Work with both the sales and marketing departments to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients

· Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company

· Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service

· Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards

· Manage and analyze marketing budget and expenditures.



· 5+ years in a marketing leadership role, 10+ years marketing experience.

· Proven track record of developing Digital Strategies and supporting Digital Marketing programs in a high growth SaaS environment.

· Ability to demonstrate ROI on the digital spend and high conversion rates.

· Experience in a high velocity / short sales cycle environment.

· Experience with reseller & OEM partner marketing.

· Drive alignment of demand generation with targeted GoToMarket strategies

· Data driven, analytical mindset.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· Good time-management and prioritization skills.

· Adaptable to different team members work styles and personalities.

· Prior experience in the learning space is highly desirable
