Summary & Role Information

The focus of this position is to positively influence revenue retention for a predetermined set of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) customers. BTP is the engine for innovation through integration, extension, and analysis scenarios of the Intelligent Enterprise. SAP BTP CSPs work with the most cutting-edge and innovative SAP solutions and coach SAP’s most strategic customers.

The BTP Customer Success Partner (CSP) role is responsible for identifying and mitigating the risks of contract renewal, develop and execute revenue retention plans, day-to-day account management activities and developing relationships with business and technical decision makers in their assigned accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

You will proactively partner with customers to ensure they get maximum value from their SAP BTP services, and coordinate activities with the Account team. You have a focus on maintaining retention as you will manage the customer renewal process including full executing of the entire opportunity-to-win cycle. You understand the big picture and can assist with critical situation management. You will work with colleagues from a broad variety of groups such as CE&X life-cycle relevant centers of experts, Account Teams, Presales, Support, Deals Desk etc.

Experience/Role Requirements:

You have a broad understanding of Integration, Application, Data, Infrastructure and Security technology domains, and can map these domains to solutions for customer challenges. You have a working knowledge of 3rd Party cloud-based landscapes and can guide customers on technology strategies. You have commercial experience including experience developing account management plans and contract negotiations.

 

You will excel in this role if:

· You have excellent business communication, leadership, and project management skills.

· You are proactive and can prioritize.

· You can manage complex organizational dynamics both internally at SAP, as well as externally with customers and partners.

· You have the ability to adapt to the unique business and cultural practices of each region/country.

· You have familiarity with cloud sales cycle in general and SAP’s commercial models and processes for SAP BTP, in particular.

· You have at least 5 years of experience working in the IT Industry. Your background could be Presales, Sales, Product/Project Management, Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, Consulting, etc.

· Professional experience and technical knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, etc.)

· Deep understanding of one or more areas of the SAP BTP portfolio: SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud Solutions.
