POSITION DESCRIPTION

The SAP NS2 Development Support team is designed to develop, maintain, and support the ‘Code Ownership’ in SAP ERP. The team supports customers using the SAP ERP Business Suite and S/4HANA. This involves maintaining the code line primarily in Funds Management and can include other application areas.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Root Cause Analysis of complex software issues utilizing Development Support tools
  • Provision and testing of coding corrections
  • Design & implementation of ‘Legal Change Requests’ in our software, quality improvements in the existing code line, performance optimization etc.
  • Delivery of consulting services as ‘Expert on Demand’ for internal and external customers remote and onsite
  • Takeover and integration of new products and features including their corresponding code lines into SAP maintenance organization

 

Responsibility for the development and delivery of additional support services to internal and external customers as for example:

  • Tool development for maintenance and upgrade services
  • Support of customers with specific consulting needs e.g. removal of code modifications, special enhancements of the standard, delivery of support services
  • Planning and execution of Know-How-Transfer Sessions to SAP Product Support Organization

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with SAP products and technology. ABAP debugging experience is required
  • Knowledge in Funds Management, Financial Accounting or other SAP applications.
  • Excellent customer management skills with strong customer-facing experience.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to quickly gain insight into the customers' solution landscape and business processes with excellent business process knowledge;
  • Strong ABAP expertise is required.
  • Presentation, communication, and conflict management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and assertiveness;
  • Bachelor’s degree required
