Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance is preferred.


  • Candidate should possess strong BASIS skills coupled with a good understanding of SAP production solution capabilities including ERP, PI/PO, Enterprise Portals, BI/BW and SAP HANA. Strong, current (v7.4, 7.5) Process Integration and Process Orchestration skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP Logistics is preferred, as well.
  • Must be able to work at both the hands-on BASIS level as well as the high level, strategic/program level. This employee in this role is expected to provide knowledge transfer, guidance and leadership to less-experienced team members.
  • Candidate must possess good communication skills, personal interface skills and a keen situational awareness.


Architecture & Design

  • The ability to analyze complex system landscapes, and devise options for systems integration.
  • Good overall understanding of SAP product solution capabilities (ERP, PI/PO, Enterprise Portals BI/BW, HANA)


PI Skills

  • Deep understanding of web services & web services security.
    • SOAP prtocol, x.509 certificates, etc.
  • Well versed in mapping techniques.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • AEX – Experience with the Java Only version of Process Integration / Process Orchestration
    • Preferred - General knwledge of Process Orchestration. Capabilities offered in PO may be useful in later project phases.
  • Strong understanding of BASIS administration, configuration & monitoring tasks


SAP Application systems

  • Preferred but not required – some ABAP programming / knowledge
  • ERP: Experience with API’s (IDOCs, RFCs, ABAP Proxies)



  • Good communication and people skills
  • Security+ Certification
  • Keen Situational Awareness
  • Willingness to work as embedded Basis team member (long term) while providing expert architectural assistance ad-hoc to customers, sales and presales efforts.


  • Deep, hands on Basis experience, typically 10 years + is desired.
  • SAP ERP Logistics experience is preferred, specifically in MM and PP.
  • Recent work in Basis Architecture at a tactical and strategic or program level.
  • Expert level PI/PO background, multi customer.



  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance preferred
  • Required undergraduate university degree, preferably in commerce, engineering, information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
  • Ability to travel up to 100%
