What you’ll do

 

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Software Asset Management, Software Developer

 

Location: Newtown Square, PA

 

Expected Start Date: September 2024

 

Contract Duration: 6 months

 

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

 

  • Integrating applications/APIs with web services  
  • Application development using SAP Fiori, ABAP on Cloud
  • Writing and testing code, debugging programs
  • Creating Reports using Python or Java or SAP Analytics cloud
  • Manage individual tasks, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Develop applications using modern cloud technologies
  • Will learn SAP BTP Technology

  • Educational requirements
    • Graduate student who is studying or has studied Computer Science – CPT or OPT
    • Approval to work Full-time (40 hours a week) 
  • Position requirements
    • Be onsite for at least three days a week
  • Desired skills/experience to be successful in this role
    • Strong Programming skills in JAVA, JavaScript or NodeJS (mandatory skill)
    • Strong Programming skills in ABAP (mandatory skill)
    • 2-3 years demonstrated meaningful work experience as a professional front-end software engineer (Preferred Skill)
    • Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile (Preferred Skill)
    • Any Knowledge/experience in SAP Finance and SAP S4-HANA (nice to have)
  • Qualifications for the role (please indicate if qualification is desired or necessary)
    • Experience in SW development using Git, GitHub in an agile team (nice to have)
    • Experience in developing FIORI Apps or SAC (nice to have)

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 26-47 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
