Within the Security Compliance Office (SCO) group, the new area “Support Center” is globally responsible for management of Multi-Dimensional Compliance Framework (MCF) for SAP´s Business Units (incl. e.g. S/4HANA, HEC, SFSF or HCP Clouds) and compliance automation. We enable our cloud units and sales teams to protect our partners and our customers and to be the best-run Enterprise Cloud Company.

The primary objectives of the Security Compliance Office are to advise SAP´s Cloud Units on obtaining and maintaining local and global compliance and regulatory obligations. The SCO Support Center team is responsible for automation and appropriate tool support for security compliance activities. By maintaining MCF in alignment with common industry standards, legal standards and best practices and providing innovative solutions for compliance management it enables SAP to excel in process execution and effectiveness of the audit and certification management services.

You would support SCO in defining a Multi-Dimensional Control Framework for SAP, extend it by inclusion of new industry or legal standards and best practices, and assist in design of compliance automation methods and tools.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Support SAP Units reaching Certifications (e.g. .ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 22301) by management of content and quality of related Multi-Dimensional Compliance Framework
  • Identify and include new industry or legal standards and best practices into MCF.
  • Support harmonization of audits across SAP
  • Work closely with Cloud Compliance, Process Audit, Delivery team, Sales team and Global Security management in the planning, development, and execution of short and long-term goals
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in independently recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Contribute to SCO compliance automation activities.
  • Build and maintain effective and trusted relationships with the Global Security Group and other internal partners such as the Quality Management Team.
  • Maintain knowledge of corporate changes, external trends, and the global regulatory landscape that may impact business activities and clients.
  • Frequently meet with key stakeholders to evaluate and adjust the direction of the MCF extension in alignment with SAP’s certification strategy.
  • Effectively communicate status of MCF to SCO support center stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required/Preferred skills

  • Previous experience with the ISO 27001, SOC2, and/or PCI audits
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud, IT, and infrastructure technologies
  • Understanding of infrastructure build-out and infrastructure components (e.g. servers, operating systems, data storage, network monitoring tools, Building Management System (BMS), Directory services (Active Directory), and networking concepts
  • Willingness to assist in areas outside of direct assignments when necessary, and commitment to self-improvement and completion of team objectives.
  • Proactive behavior, high willingness to learn and the ability to drive in challenging projects
  • Exposure to internal audit, consulting, risk management, or compliance experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to influence others
  • Communication skills in German is a plus

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of two to four years experience in auditing/security/quality management functions.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
