SUMMARY

 

The Trust Enablement team is part of the SAP Global Security organization and ensures continuous, targeted and consistent communication & enablement inside and outside the company. Our team is made up of an international group spanning 4 continents.

 

THE ROLE

 

As Security Contract Advisor, you will support the regional field legal teams as Security expert to assess security risks and propose contractual wording regarding Security, compliance and Data Protection.  In case of doubt you will initiate consultation with Security subject matter experts and the Information Security Officers of the respective solution groups within SAP. Where reasonable you will ensure escalations to the respective head of regional legal, global legal functions and Security executives based on identified risks that cannot be mitigated in negotiations with the customer.  

 

Customer engagement will be mostly remote in a virtual setup.  You will build compelling knowledge cross solutions, working with SAP Customer Security architects, and subject matter experts inside and outside SAP Global Security to collect and maintain all elements of information security. You will support global legal in improving SAP contract framework and template languages to further harmonize and assure availability of information to the broader team and assure availability of public and customer facing content. You will contribute to enablement programs for your peers in SAP Global Security as well as Customer success teams.

 

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Affinity to contractual wordings and precision of terms
  • Solid background in Information Security Management System (ISMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS, SDLC) and global Data Protection Regulations (e. g. GDPR, CCPA)
  • General knowledge about technology and security measures of SAP solution offerings
  • Fluent English with ability to present and negotiate, fluency in German would be a BIG plus (please specify in resume/application if you possess)
  • Verbal and written communication skills, including experience in presenting technical information in a business or regulatory context to attorneys, Data Privacy officers and Security officers
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills 
  • Self-Management skills; ability to work well under pressure with diligence
