SAP is currently seeking a product expert to strengthen our team of talented, supportive and motivated colleagues.  You will support the SAP Commissions solution, a strategic solution within the Human Experience Management line of business.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the success, quality, cost management and delivery of a product, product group or complex project in the whole product lifecycle as defined in the portfolio. In addition, this role contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in delivering the SAP Commissions solution.

 

We are seeking a Product Manager with sales performance management solution (SPM) knowledge and experience who will approach this role with a customer first view in every aspect of the job. 

 

In this role you will:

  • Work on product definition and detailed backlog creation based on customer feedback, technology trends and market movements.
  • Translate business requirements to technical requirements and innovative solution concepts that support our SPM strategy.
  • Work as part of an agile scrum team, focusing on planning, execution and review of sprints and releases.
  • Engage with customers, partners and internal stakeholders to roll-out our latest innovations and roadmaps.
  • Roll-in customer requirements and feedback, being able to understand customer needs and transform them into innovative solution concepts.
  • Collaborate with other product owners and teams across the entire Sales Performance Management team to increase synergies across the different solutions and scenarios.
  • Contribute to business cases, develop and drive a product vision and a product roadmap.
  • Seek to evaluate competitive products based on publicly available information to ensure we remain on-par or competitive in the current market.
  • Bring your curiosity, innovative spirit and will to succeed to this high performing team.

 

Role Requirements: 

  • University degree in Business, Engineering or Science.
  • Working experience: 8+ years in product management, customer-facing role or product development, preferably supporting Cloud Software solutions.
  • Familiarity with lean and agile concepts.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence.
  • Ability to communicate technically and in business terms.
  • Comfortable in front of customers, internal stakeholders and at industry events.
  • Business acumen in sales operations, sales compensation, incentive strategies or other related processes is a plus.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills.
  • Resilient in a changing environment.
  • Able to prioritize and manage across multiple deliverables and stakeholder groups.
