Accountable for the business, market and revenue success of Life Science solutions ensuring successful market adoption and deployment. Stay connected to Life Science customers, customer councils, end users and SAP ecosystem to ensure grass-root level understanding of their current & future needs. Identify and support relationships with customers / prospects.  Contributes to the efficiency, effectiveness and improvement of processes used in own area.  This position will focus on patient-centricity throughout the Life Science enterprise, and support advanced technologies including machine learning, robotic process automation, and others in regard to Life Sciences. 

Gain market and customer insight: Monitor and analyze technology and industry trends for the areas of Life Science intelligent technologies and patient-centricity, utilizing market research data and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities for SAP. Develop and drive creation of strategy for a solution(s) as required.  Develop and drive solution roadmap and corresponding revenue plan. Build business cases to implement solution strategy.  Identifies new partnership opportunities in support of whitespace areas.

Solution Delivery: Model solution entities and describe use of respective components within solution repository. Deliver high quality solutions (packages), validation and acceptance of planned and implemented scope adding solution-related non-coded assets and services. Contribute to go-to-market and monetization plan for solutions including partner / channel options. Review solution success & run analysis of customer insights. Contribute to sales portfolio.

Field and partner enablement: Drive solution launch, rollout and field and partner enablement. Develop/ build story boards for sales demos of solutions. Create roll out materials e.g. collaterals, references, success stories. Train and educate key multipliers (SAP internal and external). Actively participate in customer communities. Support strategic deals and customers and partners.

Thought Leadership: Provide market-leading thought leadership on the focus areas of advanced technologies and patient centricity, including public speaking, publishing of social media and other marketing assets, analyst briefings.



10+ years professional  business experience, international business experience preferred in enterprise software sales, cloud environment computing, advanced technologies, sales enablement industry operations, corporate development.  Experience in program planning and / or evaluating new business development opportunities in new or emerging markets.   Proficient understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition. Strong knowledge of best business practices and financial theory and analysis.  Fluency in English, any other language an asset. 



Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university. MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
