PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

  • SAP's Industry group drives competitive advantage for SAP by combining products across all market categories into powerful end-to-end Industry solutions and coordinates end-to-end execution across the different SAP functional areas: Product Development, Sales, and Services. Solution experts in this area work on the commercialization strategy and go-to-market for a specific end-to-end solution in the industry context.
  • The future of working in government represents a strategic opportunity for SAP in Public Sector, as many organizations on all levels face shortage of skills and need to attract new talents. As a solution manager responsible for the theme “Workforce of the Future in Public Sector” you will drive the growth of SAP’s business in that area. You will require strategic leadership in combination with subject matter and industry expertise to deliver enabling content, assets and thought leadership to field, customers and partners. In your role you will provide strong solution insights and bridge between global and local SAP teams. Supporting close customer engagement and solution adoption is key to your success.

 

 EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  1. Providing strategic expertise for the theme “Workforce of the Future”, digital transformation and public sector in general.
  2. Articulating SAP’s vision of the Intelligent Enterprise for Public Sector and how that is relevant in the context of workforce for Public Sector
  3. Shaping the Public Sector industry strategy for SAP’s offering with regards to workforce
  4. Creating industry assets, and content, connecting customer needs to SAP’s solution portfolio.
  5. Supporting public sector customers on their journey with SAP.
  6. Delivering enablement, thought leadership and market insights to account teams, partners and broader SAP ecosystem.
  7. Carrying out revenue enabling and go to market activities for SAP market units, regional and global teams.
  8. Building strong relationships and collaboration across SAP, to drive stronger solution adoption in areas such as cloud, industry solutions and platform tools adoption, using all channels including social networking.

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Minimum of 2 years professional work experience, with a focus on technology and its impact on business outcomes in the government industry
  • Good understanding of Digital Transformation in Government and its impact on processes, business models, and working in government – preferably with a focus on HR topics
  • Proven track record of excellence performance and success in strategic engagements
  • Strong perspective on how to apply SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise Framework in government – with a focus on government workforce
  • Ability to drive results in matrix organizations & virtual teams
  • Flexibility and self-motivation
  • SAP solution knowledge across the digital framework is an advantage
  • International experience is an advantage
  • Good communication and networking skills
  • MBA or advanced degree
