Solution Advisor - Enterprise Cloud Services

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Global Partner Account Management team is responsible for business development and strategy, demand generation and deal execution of SAP’s Enterprise Cloud Services portfolio for our cloud customers. SAP’s ECS solutions cover the business needs of senior business and IT executives. We are looking for team members with experience to engage with our customers’ leadership and internal virtual account teams to position SAP’s ECS portfolio of solutions through strategic, transformational opportunities and programs. SAP’s portfolio of solutions for the Cloud Line of Business covers HANA Enterprise Cloud, Extended Cloud Portfolio, Cloud Application Services, and additional offerings to help IT/Business executives run their businesses today and prepare for change in the future.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS :

  • Primary point of contact for ECS Partner level support and execution of strategic programs and initiatives - coordinating with key stakeholders (i.e. Partners, Hyperscalers, CDMs, PDMs, pCOE, etc.)
  • Close collaboration with Global System Integrators to align their methodology and service portfolio with Enterprise Cloud Services to create a seamless and unified experience for our customers.
  • Own/manage strategic relationships with regional SAP Sales and Partners or Hyperscalers
  • Support Sales/GTM activities with Partners & Hyperscalers and enforce Partner Rules of Engagement
  • Support sales and delivery teams by aligning global partner management across all stakeholders
  • Implement One SAP strategy and share Partner best practices across regions
  • Develop regional and global partner strategies & commercial models (SI, One-off reseller, pre-paid, etc.)
  • Partner Liaison – linkage to key partners, Global SI’s, hyperscalers and internal stakeholders to drive overall customer success for ECS
  • Support/Coordinate HEC migrations to hyperscalers with partners and customers to drive migration success

 

Work Experience, Skills & Competencies

  • Professional experience with software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in SAP Cloud, SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA.
  • 5+ years of prior relevant solutions/LoB experience in presales or consulting or working directly at a customer and supporting SAP environments, especially with solving complex delivery planning and execution
  • Working knowledge of cloud as aligned with SAP products and services
  • Working knowledge of cloud, hosted or managed services and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business network
  • Viewed as solutions/LoB expert across SAP, capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in successful delivery of cloud solutions
  • Strong customer facing experience - Strong presentation skills

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

Background in business or technology from accredited university.
