Summary:

The main task of a COE Sr Business Process Consultant is to understand the new business models and translate these models into solutions according to the implementation plans, deployment plans, and timelines. Maximize the use of SAP Best Practices derived from best run businesses in specific industries and geographies and maintained as Model Companies for accelerated deployment. They enable and drive fast innovation consumption based on industry model solutions and agile implementation methods leveraging the SAP On-Prem and Cloud products.
 

A Sr Business Process Consultant is responsible for the definition of the overall technical or application solution. Therefore, deep technical or application architecture skills are required. 
 

The Sr Business Process Consultant drives architecture discussion with customers across all work streams of the project and aligns the technical or application aspects with other projects in the program. The candidate also brings technical or application expert knowledge into the project. COE Senior Support Engineer takes full responsibility for the quality of the delivered tasks and is accountable for the success.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong functional experience with Financial Consolidation, SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • Deep understanding of SAP Group Reporting
  • Having understanding of accounting theory and be able to converse with business related to planning and consolidations topics.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and translate to solution design
  • Ability to assess solution design and identify potential risks and issues from technical and functional perspective
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and performance analysis in Group Reporting
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team
  • Ability to work as a customer-facing subject matter expert

 

OR

 

  • Deep understanding of the SAP BW Architecture and its relevant components such as Data Loads, Data Transfer, Data Modelling, Warehouse Management.
  • Expert in ABAP programming language within the SAP BW product area. Ability to conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Solving performance problems, data consistency issues and availability analysis of complex SAP solutions at our premium customer base.
  • Analyze and evaluate new or existing SAP BW configurations and strategy, understand the Business requirements & convert them into Blueprint
  • Determine and implement best practices for the architecture, development, and configuration of BW objects including Cubes, DSOs, Transformations, Extractors, etc.
  • Writing and troubleshooting complex ABAP code in SAP BW and Source systems
  • Create BW Extractors, data models and BEx queries using best practices LSA+
  • Complete technical design and development of the Data Warehouse Solution
  • Participate in requirements gathering and refinement sessions
  • Resolve data warehouse design issues within the development, provide solutions/guidance for performance improvement of reports/extractors
  • Leading and or contributing to critical global escalations and long term engagements for MaxAttention, and ActiveEmbedded customers.
  • Internal tasks include mentoring junior members of the team, and support activities in the Mission Critical BackOffice.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,100 - 221,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
