Summary:

Would you like to take your career in cyber security to the next level and become a highly-paid cyber security leader? Join us and be a part of a dynamic and global team, building the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) service for one of the largest splunk based SIEM environments. You will be at the core of a global operation and an integrated part of the realization of this splunk ecosystem. You will make recommendations and drive continuous improvement of SIEM tools, workflows, and integrations.

 

The Role:

As a SIEM Engineering Senior Specialist your key responsibilities may include, further development, maintenance, configuration, and trouble shouting of the SIEM tools in the global SIEM ecosystem. You will be part of a global team delivering a SIEM Service with a 24*7 follow the sun operation model. This requires collaboration with key stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure implementation. Additionally, it is expected that you foster data hygiene and quality as well as the adherence to the data strategy of the SIEM.

 

 

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of Information Security Experience
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) regarding operation, architecture, or support
  • Knowledge of information security compliance audit frameworks (e.g. PCI, SOC, GDPR, ...)
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain methods and frameworks
  • Knowledge of automation, scripting, and regular expression
  • Knowledge in Service Management

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines or equivalent experience
  • Security Certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, GCFA, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA, GREM, GCCC, or Security+ are an asset

Language:

  • Excellent English communication skills (written and oral)

 

 

SIEM Operations is a global team, providing the SIEM Service to the different business units within SAP. We are the Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) for the Security Incident and Event Management Service. It’s a diverse team with people from different countries and cultures.
