EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

The Senior Recruiter understands the organizational structure, business strategy and key objectives within their assigned client groups. They will act as trusted advisor to their respective business units and hiring managers, supporting them throughout the hiring process and ensuring that selected hires align with the required skills and organizational needs, all global and local policies and legislation are adhered to, and SAP’s best practices are embodied in every stage of the process. 

 

The Senior Recruiter oversees execution of all end-to-end tactical and strategic recruitment processes, from the point of requisition approval to initial candidate onboarding. They will: collaborate with hiring managers, creating a tailored recruitment strategy; execute direct and in-direct sourcing activities in the external marketplace; complete prescreening and shortlisting of candidates, sharing ideal profiles for hiring manager review; serve as subject matter expert, guiding hiring managers on established practices for interviewing, hiring decisions, complex offer creation, management of the offer and negotiation stage as well as offer processing and initial onboarding.

 

The Senior Recruiter maintains real time recruiting updates within our SuccessFactors recruiting system and ensures managers are regularly updated on the status of recruiting for their respective requisitions. They continually evaluate and adapt the recruiting strategy to drive improvements and efficiencies. The Senior Recruiter continuously improves personal skills and knowledge of recruiting, selection and consulting through SAP Learning Modules and LinkedIn Modules. While the varied hiring processes involve collaboration with additional internal stakeholders such as HRBP and HR Advisory organizations, Total Rewards & Benefits, Recruiting Operations, and the Data/Organizational Management Teams, the Senior Recruiter holds full accountability for the successful execution of the hiring process; filling vacancies against time, quality and service demands while ensuring exceptional client and candidate experiences. 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, & OTHER COMPETENCIES:
•    Bachelor's Degree
•    5+ years of recent experience recruiting in an agency or corporate recruiting environment
•    Proven success/ability in high volume recruitment within all areas of: sourcing, selection, client and candidate relationship management
•    Deep knowledge of the recruitment market in either a specific geography or functional area relevant to SAP (Sales & Technology Sector Recruiting are a strong plus)
•    Strong emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and proven abilities in consultative approach/communication when advising hiring managers, from newer first line managers to executive leadership
•    Ability to effectively manage demanding workload and competing priorities, remaining customer and results focused
•    Passion for Recruiting, Problem Solving and being an Engaged Team Player
