Your Future Role:

For this role, we are looking for someone with a strong cloud mindset focused on S/4HANA Cloud. This role requires a broad set of functional business knowledge across core S/4HANA and Digital Supply Chain Management.

As a Senior Presales Specialist, you will focus on driving the adoption of the Intelligent Enterprise with S/4HANA Public Cloud by:

  • Engaging prospective customers predominately in the net new namespace;
  • Showing empathy and creating a memorable experience across our end to end engagement with the outcome of a customer for life;
  • Working collaboratively with the account team to show the business value that an SAP solution will deliver to address the customer's desired outcomes;

As a Senior Presales Specialist, you will be interacting with prospective customers through executive meetings, digital discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, executive presentations, and follow-up discussions. In addition, you will work closely with the ecosystem and sales in a collaborative manner to plan and execute business development strategies using creative techniques.  You will also need to stay across changes in product direction and new product releases to ensure you are providing the latest guidance. To achieve a customer for life the relationship must not stop at the point of sale but continue post-sale by ensuring hand-off to the services partner and continue to follow up with the customer post-sale to ensure we have a customer for life.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Work closely with the Sales Team and broader account team to understand client requirements and help define a sales strategy, drives qualification and deal governance
  • Create a memorable experience across all interactions with our customers by ensuring you adhere to the operational best practices such as:
    • ensuring quality and empathetic discovery sessions,
    • executing dry runs and
    • presenting SAP’s compelling user experience for all use cases
    • create and utilize digital assets
  • You will be responsible for completing the Digital Discovery Assessments in conjunction with prospects
  • Present our solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders in many different industries from the C-suite to the hands-on end-user
  • Communicate business value aligned to proposed solutions
  • Maintain knowledge with quarterly release cycles you need to proactively stay up to date on the latest enhancements and new capability
  • Identify and execute demand generation activities in collaboration with the sales teams and marketing to ensure sufficient pipeline coverage for the Digital Core of the Intelligent Enterprise.
  • Support Marketing Events
  • Working with a diverse team spread across ANZ you will work on a variety of opportunities
  • Innovate, innovate and innovate across client solutions architected, presentations given and those mesmerizing demonstrations

Your Basic qualifications

  • Requires 8+ years of professional experience, and we’d love it if you had a broad set of Core SAP ERP and Digital Supply Chain experience
  • 5+ years of application Presales experience, or 5+ years of Core ERP & Digital Supply Chain implementation or education experience
  • Any relevant Core ERP and/or Digital Supply Chain experience is very highly prized.
