We are looking for an enthusiastic team leader to join our HRdirect team in Manila.

The primary responsibility of the HRdirect Team Lead will revolve around people management, operations management, and ad-hoc projects. The goal is to drive the team’s excellent performance, while building a healthy team culture that will bring sustainable business success and growth.

 

 

The Role:

 

You will lead a dedicated team that works together to create relevant, memorable differences in the lives of our employees.   

 

The global HRdirect team consists of 80+ members, handling HR queries across the entire SAP population and creating great customer experiences. You will become part of a dynamic, fun, international team that is the face of HR in SAP. 

 

In this team leader role, you drive the success of your team by creating an environment of trust, support inclusion while maintaining high motivational levels. You will support the team with daily operations, both in terms of meeting our objectives and optimizing our processes.

 

We are looking for a leader who is proactive in building relationships both within the immediate team and wider business to gather knowledge, new ideas and best practices, while also helping the team to do so through our Workgroup concept.

 

In addition, you will have opportunities to get involved in various cross-functional HR projects including process and technical innovations such as robotics, automation, machine learning and chatbots. 

 

Role Requirements:

 

  1. Good people management and interpersonal skills 
  2. Ability to understand team members’ development needs, support their growth, and coach diverse employees 
  3. Be motivated by the achievements of your team, strive to help others 
  4. Strong experience in effectively handling difficult customer and employee situations 
  5. Aptitude to communicate honestly and openly, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Responsive, owning your task and following through  
  7. Curios and thirsty for learning, thinks outside the box, takes pleasure in learning new technologies, and enjoys solving problems by researching information
  8. Ability to work in a fast-paced and volume-driven environment
  9. Other core competencies: agile, results-oriented, analytical, and has attention to details
  10. Leadership experience is desired but not a must have

  1. Efficient day-to-day operations behind a strong team culture
  2. Transparency and collaboration within the team and leadership team
  3. Fulfillment of team SLAs, KPIs, and other major deliverables
  4. Successful partnership with stakeholders
