Head of Market Strategy, CX


  • Your primary role is the give the leadership team wings to take big calculated swings.
  • You will collaborate with the leadership team to define the overall multiyear mid-market and large enterprise growth plan for SAPs Customer Experience CRM business
  • You will collaborate with the leadership team to define the downstream execution strategy, establishing key portfolio and solution performance metrics, organic vs in organic growth levers, and the cross functional operating model
  • You will own and drive the quarterly and annual planning process and leadership meetings to drive our growth plan and prioritize ruthlessly.
  • Teams reporting to you will own and execute the portfolio narrative internally and externally
  • You will collaborate with our operations team to drive upstream reporting to the Executive board and collaborate with other functional teams to jointly create reporting deliverables.
  • You will partner with sub-solution leads in our business to help them formalize their market strategies as part of the overall growth plan for our category
  • Work collaboratively across a global matrix organization to help build alignment and ensure prepare for successful execution
  • You will lead and incubate Office of the CMO special projects




  • 7-10 years of Strategy Consulting/Management Consulting experience
  • Industry / ecosystem awareness to understand and capitalize on trends to drive portfolio differentiation and growth
  • Track record of success building growth plans, driving strategy and an ability to work through ambiguity
  • Track record of communicating and influence at the CXO and Board level of large public companies
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and fix problems in a hands-on manner when needed
  • Experience using data to analyze performance and drive strategic decision making
  • Intellectual curiosity and research rigor to drive decisions
  • Proven capabilities in evaluating operational gaps/ weaknesses


Nice to have:


  • Experience in CRM, Customer Experience category
  • Prior operating experience, working for an enterprise software company in a strategy or corporate development capacity
  • Experience defining both direct and partner led growth strategies
