Job Overview

Our SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network (ISBN) Marketing and Solutions team is looking for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced marketing leader to support the development and execution of the full integrated marketing plan.  This role is critical to ensure that ISBN’s marketing program supports both the short-term and long-term growth objectives of the business. 

 

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated marketing professional that possesses sound judgment and impeccable writing skills, with experience managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders across the globe. You will utilize your attention to detail, creative thinking, and excellent written communication skills to create powerful narratives and content experiences.

 

This position requires a strategic thinker with experience working in a matrixed organization, and the ability to develop relationships with teams and leaders throughout the company. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Global Vice President, ISBN Cross Marketing, to create and implement a strategic integrated marketing plan to support the growth of the ISBN portfolio globally
  • Partner with Corporate Marketing (Advertising, Brand, etc.) Global Demand Center, Field Marketing, ISBN Communications and Market Strategy leaders to ensure plans are integrated across functions and aligned for the greatest possible impact
  • Understand the ISBN growth strategy and objectives for translation into the Integrated Marketing Plan
  • Develop a communication strategy to keep key stakeholders across ISBN informed on progress against plan
  • Plan and prepare quarterly strategic updates to ISBN leadership
  • Engage with the Customer Success Organization on core sales play alignment in alignment with the Integrated Marketing Plan
  • Define the key channels to achieve key marketing objectives 
  • Own the Monthly Business Review process in alignment with Marketing Operations, including the review of the data pack, development of insights and alignment with senior leaders, including the CMSO-- on presentation

 

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams on communications and marketing strategies, tactics and plans that leverage core strengths of a brand and position it for future growth
  • Highly collaborative with strong relationship management experience; able to lead informal teams and colleagues.
  • Ability to think beyond classical marketing parameters to create new approaches and solutions; responsive to changes and trends and proactively shifts priorities to meet these changes.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality solutions and the willingness to help complete tasks at all levels of a project.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Impeccable messaging and copy writing skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic team player with exceptional communication, writing, project management and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to contribute to high performing cross-functional global teams
  • Adapts well to change and can act with urgency
  • Strong persuasive skills; able to gain consensus through influence
  • Ability to work cross functionally with peer group and senior leadership to achieve goals

 

Education & Experience required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7+ years experience in marketing, strategy, or planning roles within a large B2B with multiple brands
