Job Description: Senior Manager, Communities and Brand Partners, Influencer Marketing


Expectation overview: Actively project manage and successfully implement integrated marketing programs with the relevant third-party communities (including social media communities), associations, trade organizations and sponsorships/brand partners. This includes awareness, demand generation, pipeline building and acceleration, loyalty, advocacy, customer adoption and retention.

Centrally manage external relationships and develop strategic plan and activities with third-party communities and brand partners. Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and teams both at the global and regional level to capitalize on the marketing mix with emphasis on the customer. Orchestrates with branding, content, communications, operations, digital and social media, partners, customer reference and events teams to create integrated programs and campaigns.


- Develop a metrics driven approach to third-party communities and brand partners. Evaluate new techniques and determine best practices to create repeatable processes and content. Collect and syndicate best practices.


- Gather intelligence across SAP Ariba to determine and map out strategic relationships and best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert in the evaluation of overall performance to refine programs for a real business impact. This includes e.g. business and campaign performance across the whole marketing mix, program execution, and pipeline impact.


- Create a global and regional view that will help sales and marketing collaborate in developing the right mix of activities with third-party communities and brand partners.


- Contribute to the greater influencer marketing initiatives, campaigns and events. Develop relationships with influential voices within communities and brand partners.


- Understand how to leverage digital and social across SAP and greater SAP network.


- Ensure programs and campaigns are expertly aligned with stated strategic goals.


- Apply a broad range of knowledge to curate, build, tailor, and syndicate programs for awareness, demand generation, opportunity acceleration, customer adoption and retention, and other strategic purposes, combining market and competitive insights, business objectives, knowledge of relevant elements of the SAP Ariba portfolio, audience insights and intelligence as well as key messages into integrated programs and/or campaigns.


- Stakeholder Management - Strongly align with business stakeholders to ensure marketing programs closely align to business and sales goals. Continuously evangelize marketing strategy, plans and results and collaborate for refinement. Share knowledge and expertise.
