Summary & Role Information

Regional Leadership role for North America (NAMER) Business Network Services organization (up to 76 headcounts). Reporting to Vice President, Global Business Network Services. You will be responsible for leading the regional team that delivers services for deployment and the ongoing Onboarding support of SAP Business Network solutions (includes Ariba Network, Logistics Business Network, Asset Intelligence Network and more as the Business Network evolves).  This covers the customer during implementation and throughout the life-cycle of the customer subscription period.


This is a very dynamic and fast paced leadership role, as the Business Network is one of SAP’s core growth strategies (SAP striving to become Leader in this new Market Category) and Business Network Services directly contributes to Customers’ and Trading Partners’ adoption & consumption of the solution. You will also be contributing (through internal partnership and collaboration with your peers leading other regions and relevant stakeholders within SAP) to enhance/evolve existing Services and develop new Services to meet Customers’ and internal Business expectations as the Business Network grows and evolves. You will expertly be steering your regional team through change management to adapt to our evolving Service offerings.


Core Tasks include and not limited to:

  • Contribute and support the evangelising of SAP’s Business Network strategy with internal colleagues and external Customers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of existing Services (to stay ahead of competition) and development of new Services (to enhance Customer experience & generate new revenue streams for SAP).
  • Steer North America Business Network Services team to sustainability adjust to evolving landscape (market, product, scope of services, etc) so that the team is equipped to thrive as SAP’s strategy in this area grows and evolves.
  • Lead North America regional team in seamless execution of current scope of services to exceed Customer expectations with adoption and consumption of Business Network solutions.
  • Engage with priority Customers (through partnership & collaboration with internal teams – Sales, Customer Engagement, Partner Ecosystem, etc) to steer deployment, adoption & consumption of SAP Business Network solutions.
  • Responsible for business financial metrics (regional team utilization, contribution margin and delivering Services scope of work).
  • Develop & lead strong People First culture to contribute to SAP’s ‘Great Place to Work’ culture and ensure our People have great opportunities for personal and career development.


Experience (Role Requirements):

  • Up to 10-years in Regional Leadership role managing large consulting organization for Cloud Solutions deployment OR Business Management Consulting.
  • Background and practical experience with Cloud solutions adoption and/or Digital Transformation.
  • Practical experience and track record with leading large organization change management (internal teams and/or external Customer teams).
  • Strong executive presence required (for external Customer engagement at Executive-levels).
  • Strong Program Management fundamentals.
  • Proven track record with delivering Cloud solution adoption and consumption metrics.
  • Proven ability to think big picture (for strategy planning) and lead large teams to execute/deliver the strategy.
  • Proven people leadership skills and experience.
  • Understanding of Business Network concept and framework is preferred (but not mandatory).
