Customer Engagement & Experience (CE&X) is a dynamic new entity within SAP’s Customer Success Board Area. With SAP’s growing subscription revenue and increasing number of customers on cloud-based contracts, we need to ensure customers successfully take their solutions into use quickly, adopt it deeply, achieve their desired outcomes, and ultimately expand their footprint with SAP and renew their subscription contracts. SAP plans to increase market coverage and customer reach significantly and is committed to do this by working hand in hand with a rich partner ecosystem. With SAP’s commitment to the market to increase its margin over the coming years, we will seek new efficient and effective ways of engaging with our customers in the cloud era.

The CE&X Chief Operating Office (COO) has a mandate to enable and fuel the ongoing transformation, while providing a consistent and scalable framework and service level across all LoBs, as well as a strong interlock across Regional and Global CE&X units and the whole Customer Success Organization. 

The CE&X Employee Skills and Performance Team leads and oversees employee enablement as well as ongoing knowledge and learning to ensure the transformation initiative is a success.



In the CE&X Early Talent Academy you will have the opportunity to join a 9 - 12-month rotation that will give you a holistic view of CE&X.  You will have the opportunity to work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.  The program will enrich your knowledge of what SAP and CE&X do as well as give you the professional experience to be ready to serve our customers.

The opportunities for rotation will be across our organization but will focus on the Success Centers (post sale support including adoption), Customer Interaction Center (ongoing customer support), Virtual Support Post Sale (for smaller customers) and Customer Engagement (front line customer facing roles).  The rotation will be an agile approach and monitored thoroughly through the Early Talent Team to ensure that you are successful and on the right career path.  After you complete this program, you will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent position within CE&X.  In addition to a robust rotation, the program will offer ongoing enablement as well as individual and team assignments to test your knowledge and skillset.



  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited university preferred
  • 0-3 Years of Professional Experience
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication
