Join SAP's Marketing and Solutions Board Area organization to drive market awareness, demand generation, consideration and go to market activities for SAP Data Management. SAP customers are investing in SAP’s Data Management solutions for data-driven intelligence, so they can make strategic decisions with confidence. Gartner and Forrester recognize SAP as a leader in all areas of Data Management including data fabric, data integration, data quality, metadata management, and master data management.

 

In this role, you will collaborate with key product, sales and marketing and solution stakeholders to develop content and programs for this strategic solution portfolio. You’ll be accountable for helping drive overall strategy, driving market awareness and traction, sales enablement, marketing execution, customer stories, and solution delivery. 

 

 

Key responsibilities for SAP Marketing and Solutions Manager for Data Management

 

  • Solution Area Growth and Product Marketing Strategy: Assist in marketing strategy by researching industry trends, assessing market research data and customer requirements to create a holistic solution strategy and solution marketing approach.
  • Messaging and storytelling:  Understand and help build the holistic data management narrative leveraging our differentiated value proposition and create compelling messaging for the data management buyer.
  • Digital content development and campaign support- Develop solution, customer and social content for the digital nurture programs that is part of the integration buyer’s journey i.e. thought leadership papers, demand generation tools, podcasts, webinars, brochures, videos, blogs, virtual events, social content, etc.
  • Solution Delivery and Go-To-Market (GTM) Activities: Assist in development of the strategy and delivery of high-quality offerings, including best in class content & sales enablement. Oversee the creation of GTM plans and shape their strategic direction.
  • Customer and Influencer Engagement: Engage with customers, customer communities, and leaders in the SAP ecosystem to ensure understanding of their current and future needs. Drive high quality dialogue with influencers such as industry experts, analysts and press to further market perception of the portfolio.
  • Monitor performance of solution portfolio through various reporting metrics and create action plans to ensure attainment of solution portfolio goals.
  • Guide the definition and implementation of Data Management pricing and packaging strategy for applications
  • Create LoB-specific and Industry-specific positioning for the Data Management portfolio including digital assets noted above.
  • In collaboration with LoB counterparts, develop and deliver Data Management sales enablement, CE&X enablement, and marketing content, where applicable

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 2+ years’ experience and a track record of success in solution management or product marketing spanning campaigns, digital, web, and events. 
  • Understanding of the data management market spanning product depth, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Relevant experience with SAP Data Management not required, but a plus
  • Strong collaborator who can work effectively in a matrixed organization and partner with teams such as Sales and Product Engineering.
  • Growth mindset with desire to learn and try new approaches. 
  • B.S. in computer science, engineering, marketing or business preferred
