SUMMARY & ROLE

The Forecasting Specialist will report to the Regional Head of CE&X and supports realization of our customer’s success across all SAP subscriptions and maintenance-based solutions. This role is as such supporting the Regional Head who is responsible for sustaining and protecting the region’s reoccurring revenue streams.

 

The Forecasting Specialist will work within the existing CE&X NA Business Office team and should have a solid understanding of all Forecasting processes, tools, and services. You are a critical point of success or failure to the CE&X NA Regional Heads` ability to transform forecasting into a service-driven business.

 

You are expected to become a trusted advisor to our business by performing the following tasks:

  • Enable decision-making: interpret and share information, consolidate analytics/reports and utilize the right tools to provide insights and recommendations to the Regional Head and sales leaders.
  • Manage your stakeholders: Influence your stakeholders through strong credibility. Foster a one-team approach for greater transparency and impact, proactively fostering the extension of process standards to other lines of the business when of benefit. Your core stakeholders are the peer Business Partners, NA Head of Strategic Planning, and Sales Managers in the CE&X NA area. You may also closely collaborate with BizOps and Solution Area Leaders.
  • Demonstrate expertise through special forecasting projects that require your level of knowledge, and skill.
  • As a CE&X NA Business Partner you will have a focus on aligning with local, regional, and global Business Partners on disconnects or opportunities.

 

Specific processes to be led by the role

  • Renewal forecast Aggregation and reporting
  • Renewal Improvement plan Aggregation and reporting
  • CE&X Quarterly Business Review preparation and reporting 
  • NA Regional budget oversight and management 
  • Responsible for adhoc reporting tasks

 

EXPERIENCE & ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer Focus: Gives high priority to customer satisfaction and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal customers. Strong work ethic and highest levels of reliability.
  • Strong understanding of SAP reporting tools and metrics supporting the CE&X mission and goal.
  • Growth Mindset: Views challenges as opportunities and can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal under tight deadlines. Uses resources effectively and efficiently, teams up with peers and colleagues to deliver on business needs.
  • Finds joy in using latest technology to support business decisions, strong analytical skills coupled with eagerness to drive automation and transparency enabled through our data & analytics portfolio, innovator mindset when it comes to turn ideas into action.
  • Operations working experience, preferably working within operations-related forecasting/sales experience
  • Project management skills can be an advantage.
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS Office portfolio (esp. Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote,Teams)
    SAP Analytics solution knowledge.
  • Familiarity with SAP tools such as Enterprise Analytics Store (renewal operation report), Totango, ADRM is a bonus.
