SAP is looking for an Intern as an HR Recruitment Assistant to join our Talent Attraction team based in Portugal for a temporary (6 months) role.
The primary purpose of this role is to support recruitment processes for open positions in various countries in the region upon business needs.

The day to day tasks might include screening applicants, getting involved in sourcing activities, interacting with candidates regarding their status, maintaining data in relevant systems, preparing and attending university fairs \ other events, or any additional support that will be needed to make sure hiring processes are effective, with high quality, and with the best candidate experience.  

As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the of the wider South EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Talent Attraction organization, working with an international, fast-paced and dynamic team. 
You will be exposed to a wide variety of Recruitment related projects, gain proficient skills in HR systems, reporting skills and get exposure to business areas across multiple functions in SAP. You will collaborate and learn from pros around the region, build your network, and much more.


  • An active University student, preferably in Human Resources Management \ Psychology \ Other related fields 
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in Portuguese and English. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
  • Learning capacity and a strong will to acquire new skills
  • High motivation, proactive approach and customer orientation 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills



  • Experience in recruitment or other HR functions is an advantage, preferably in the high-tech industry
  • Project Management experience - an advantage
  • Proven ability to utilize Internet search techniques [ex: Boolean] across multiple search engine platforms – an advantage 
  • Proven ability to leverage Social Networking tools and sites [Ex:, LinkedIn,] to identify and engage with candidates - an advantage
