PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Even the most groundbreaking idea starts with a small spark, an idea that may seem unremarkable and unimpressive at first, but that can eventually be turned into something that has a profound impact on the world around us.

 

As part of SAP Intrapreneurship, you will contribute your skills and expertise to empowering SAP’s 78,000+ employees to be entrepreneurs within the organization and grow their ideas into profitable businesses in new markets. The SAP Intrapreneurship program enables corporate entrepreneurs to take end-to-end responsibility for building new businesses based on their very own ideas – from the conception and ideation of the idea, to market validation with customers through to product incubation and beyond.

Successful entrepreneurs are provided with venture capital funding and strong mentorship to support them in successfully entering the market and establishing growth.

 

Location for this position is Potsdam. There is a shuttle for SAP employees running from Berlin to Potsdam and back every day, free of charge.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As part of the SAP Intrapreneurship team, you will be working in a young, fast-paced environment. You will take end-to-end responsibility for the visual design of the Intrapreneurship brand. This entails collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of the program, as well as the various stakeholders involved. It also entails effective communication of your conceptual ideas and design decisions in order to implement the next generation design of Intrapreneurship.

To unlock your full potential and allow you to grow as a designer, you will have access to mentoring from experienced senior designers at the Innovation Center Potsdam.

Your tasks may include:

  • Define a new visual identity and design language for the Intrapreneurship program
  • Shape the appearance of the Intrapreneurship brand by creating and implementing new design guidelines
  • Take ownership and manage all Intrapreneurship document templates and image libraries
  • Support our campaigns with powerful designs, including illustrations and infographics
  • Create visual designs for program collaterals such as flyers, roll-ups, posters, t-shirts, etc.
  • Ensure that our communications to SAP employees and external audiences are visually impactful, e.g. by maintaining our online Jam community or program presentations with exciting, up-to-date designs


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Student (f/m) - preferred field(s) of study: Student of graphic design or a related field
  • Outstanding visual design skills and a sense for aesthetics and simplicity
  • Ability to comprehend and master complex contexts and transforming them into visual concepts
  • Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch etc.
  • Experience in print design, layouting, typography
  • Experience in video production and editing with tools such as Final Cut, Premiere, After Effects is desirable
  • Experience in information design is desirable
  • Language skills: Advanced written and verbal communications skills in English
