SAP is transforming its Identity & User Management (IUM) processes which are built on a new identity foundation: the SAP Universal ID (UID).

 

SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION
The Business Product Owner for SAP Universal ID (UID) is expected to take ownership of UID.
In this position you are responsible for defining and prioritizing the business requirements for the SAP Universal ID identity platform and for helping to drive the end-user adoption.

Your tasks include the following:

Strategic Dimension

  • Work closely with the IUM business & process owner to define business goals, objectives, and high-level business requirements 
  • Help increase and monitor customer adoption of UID
  • Drive design and implementation in alignment with all stakeholders
  • Work with platform owners to implement enhanced UID integration with improved user processes and flows 

Operational topics

  • Define and prioritize user stories and epics using the Agile Methodology
  • Work with IT to decompose those stories during development
  • Ensuring sign-off the E2E processes and platform enhancements jointly with the other IUM business and process owners
  • Collaborate closely with the user management process owners to tie core user management processes to SAP Universal ID
  • Engage UX and user testing colleagues to determine which features would have the most impact to end-users
  • Coordinate the creation or updates to UID related communication artefacts in multiple languages, and monitoring of social channels 
  • Help define and track quarterly portfolio

 

EXPERIENCE (ROLE REQUIREMENTS)

  • 5+ years of professional experience business/product management, agile methodology, transformational change management, or project management
  • You bring End-to-end thinking, and process design skills 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and precisely and work with business and IT
  • You develop a vision for to-be data model and processes
  • Ability to convince stakeholders of this vision and "lead by influencing" to ensure outstanding Customer Experience and business process efficiency across SAP•    Analytical and organizational skills and you are a strong team player
  • Proactive work attitude, ability to drive projects or tasks, take up leading roles and responsibilities, be a self-starter and a quick learner with “Can-Do” mentality
  • Excellent analytical skills, i.e. being able to grasp and structure complex problems and perform conceptual work

 

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Customer Influence & Interaction (CI&I) team drives programs and services on improving our customer’s post-sales experience on how SAP runs across the entire SAP portfolio. Key objectives are the simplification and harmonization of the different touch points ensuring end-to-end customer life cycle, containing direct & indirect customer interaction and impacting customer experience.
