Finance Operations Specialist for FSI Business Unit

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP together with an investment company Dediq announced a partnership to exapand SAP’s financial services portfolio to better serve the rapidly changing banking and insurance industry to meet the needs for digital transformation and improve the cost efficiency of financial services customers. 
Dediq, an investor based in Munich, Germany, with a strong banking, insurance, and financial services background, together with SAP will form a dedicated Financial Services Industry (FSI) Unit, which will be jointly owned by the two companies. The new unit will focus on accelerated innovation in the area of core banking, core insurance and FSI-specific finance solutions that will be based on SAP software and be integrated into SAP’s overall portfolio and product roadmap.

Global Finance Shared Services Organization (GFSS) is committed to support this new joint venture from the Financial Processes´ coverage perspective. This dynamic team will cover the following processes: Procure to Pay inclusive of Fixed Assets, Trips & Expenses, Record to Report, Order to Invoice and Cash Collections. The team is intended to expand in line with the success of this newly forming company. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND TASKS
As a team member of the GFSS Joint Venture team, you are expected to have an advanced Shared Services experience with proven track records. You should be able to work tactically while think strategically, as in this fast developing team, your set of actions may be shaping the future best practices in the specific process. You are to going to act as point of contact for the future Finance team of the joint venture and as subject matter expert for wide range of operational queries. It is essential that you will think broad and bold and in comformity with SAP values. Your ability to deliver within committed time frame under any circumstances will conclude the requirements for a successful candidate for this role.

 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION / SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor or Master´s degree in relevant field of expertise (accounting, business administration or similar).
  • Excellent English verbal & written communication skills (additional language besides mother tongue is benefit).
  • Motivated, engaged, independent, goal oriented and highly performing individual.
  • Organized, punctual individual with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to see complexity and translates this into simplicity.
  • SAP System environment experience.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to participate in various projects and continuous improvements initiatives.


WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience in Multinational Corporation.
  • Shared Services experience (SAP Shared Services and/or SAP system knowledge is big plus).
  • Experienced with multiple Shared Services processes.
