Summary and Role Information


As the program manager, you will be leading the SAP.iO Foundry Tel Aviv startup program activities, its ongoing operations and daily execution of the program, and focuses on engaging both internal and external resources while helping to execute on deliverables that ensure the success of SAP.iO Foundry startup program. You will play a major role in ensuring the programs’ key events such as the “Kickoff” and the “Demo Days” and also external conferences and marketing events to position SAP.iO as a leading corporate innovation unit and building our brand in the Tel Aviv startup ecosystem. The program manager needs to be able to work with startups, SAP executives as well as with the C-level of our customers. This position reports to the SAP.iO Head of Foundries Europe, based in Munich, Germany. 


Roles and responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following)

 

  • Plan the program - building a detailed working plan for the 3-month program and coordinating it with the various stakeholders at SAP.
  • Lead the overall operations and administration of the SAP.iO startup program. 
  • Assist the Tel Aviv Foundry Director with the scouting, sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding of the selected startups
  • Represent SAP.iO Foundry Tel Aviv (along with the Director) within the Tel Aviv and Israeli startup, customer, and investor ecosystem as appropriate.
  • Own the product integration process - Facilitate integration use-case discussion with each one of the selected startups. Lead the exploration and integration process with relevant SAP stakeholders.
  • Own the partnership onboarding process - Guiding the startups through the process of becoming an SAP partner.
  • Execute related administrative work and comply with internal processes - This will include scheduling calls, issue meeting minutes, organize virtual sessions and events, follow-up action items, on-going calls with SAP.iO global team, process documentation (in various databases/CRM and Airtable).
  • Develop the concept and organization of “Demo Days” and coordinate executive participation to drive mentorship, customer introductions, and organizational support
  • Host visitors and delegations, and give presentations

In this role, you will work with the SAP.iO Tel Aviv Foundry Director to ensure programs delivered on time, quality, and budget, and potential delivery risks are identified and minimized before they become issues. Successful completion of product integration and partnership onboarding processes on time, during the program or short time after is essential. 


Skills & Requirements

 

  • Comfortable with a minimal amount of direction but high expectations
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with startups or partners and corporate executives.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment with a dedicated work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Project management – planning and timely execution of tasks. Capable of multitasking and able to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal to moderate direction.
  • Personal communication and passion for innovation 
  • Experience in working with CRM/Airtable is a plus.
  • Speaking Hebrew and English fluently 
  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences, preferably, MBA.
  • Soft skills:  Team player, strong verbal and written communication skills, expert in organizing
  • Other: Good understanding or desire to work with startups and the global tech ecosystem, understanding of emerging technologies and ability spot / convey trends, ability to foster communication and cooperation among diverse individuals online and offline, self-motivated and proactive in the working environment with a dedicated work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit  

 

This position requires close working cooperation throughout all teams and levels of the organizations, and vendors, the success of this position is based on effective teamwork within and outside of the department and with external entities, and extensive working networking inside of SAP is needed.
