Job Description Overview


SAP Business Network is an innovative and powerful solution that reimagines how businesses collaborate with their network of trading partners and will empower companies to unify all the points of interaction and integration across that network to move faster and smarter than ever before.


As part of SAP Business Network, we have the SAP Ariba Network which allow customers to automate their procurement processes and achieve supply chain visibility with SAP Ariba Commerce Automation and SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration for Buyers, part of SAP Business Network. This network help customers achieve plan-driven automation, optimize capacity, and inventory, and streamline procurement workflows.


As part of the Procurement Technology Services, the Buyer Network Integration team goal is to bring new connections to the SAP Ariba Network, supporting customers to connect and integrate their ERP with SAP Ariba Network, and increase SAP Business Network cloud adoption.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Provide technical and functional setup services to buyers with the goal of connecting their ERP with SAP Ariba Network using SAP Integration Suite for SAP Commerce Automation.
  •  Provide education, best practices and recommendation to buyers with the goal of increasing cloud adoption with SAP Business Network.
  •  Support integration activities related with SAP Commerce Automation and SAP Supply Chain Collaboration implementations with SAP Ariba Network.
  •  Act in an architect role, providing guidance and best practices on SAP Ariba solutions implementations and defining the best architecture scenario for projects.
  •  Support both technical and functional configurations, and User Interface customizations in the SAP Ariba Network solution.
  •  Lead technical and functional workshops with customers regarding the SAP Ariba Network.
  •  Support the implementation of Tax Invoicing solutions for LAC in SAP Ariba Network.
  •  Support the technical implementation of the RISE Starter Pack for SAP Ariba Network.
  •  Lead and coordinate SAP Ariba Network projects following leading practice processes to ensure compliance and organization.
  •  Collaborate with several internal teams with the goal of improving our SAP Cloud solutions, processes and services.


Preferred Qualifications


  •  SAP technical background experience with IDOC integration, MM, ABAP, BASIS, FI. Experience with SAP ERP Integration solutions including Netweaver, PI / PI Mapping, CI, Add-On, ECC, S4/HANA.
  •  Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
  •  Strong understanding of how document flow and data transformation occur between ERP systems and SAP Ariba Cloud solutions.
  •  Strong understanding of integration with using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration Gateway.
  •  Strong understanding of CXML language.
  •  Understanding of API integration.
  •  Understanding of the functional processes involved in other SAP Ariba could solutions (Strategic Sourcing Suite, SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing) and the electronic transactions that support them.
  •  Understanding and exposure to EAI, Middleware, and other integration tools.
  •  Ability to adapt support style to align with the technical capabilities of the customer.
  •  Strong understanding of Procurement and Payable processes.
  •  Strong Supply Chain background and knowledge.
  •  Trilingual (Portuguese, Spanish and English).


Basic Minimum Qualifications


  •  Bachelor’s degree required.
  •  Minimum of 6+ years of experience in IT Consulting.
  •  Basic SAP technical background knowledge.
  •  Demonstrated experience in project management, with a focus on organizational change management.
  •  Ability to compile status of all projects and provide regular reports to management.
  •  Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment and influence others that impact success.
  •  Ability to work in different environments (SAP office, home-office and inside customers).
  •  Experience creating and delivering presentations on project related work to team members, management, and customers.
  •  Flexibility to adjust regular business hours to the needs of global customers.
  •  Strong technical and customer facing experience.
  •  Experience with XML, Web Services, WSDL and communication protocols of business documents (VAN, AS2, HTTP post, etc.).
  •  Ability to work in a strong teamwork environment and having a collaboration and proactivity mindset.
  •  Proactive problem solver with ability to tap into any resources available to address functional and technical challenges.
  •  Fluency in both English and Spanish.
