CoE LA Area Activities:

CoE Technology Platform Support consultants are engineers who can perform highly specialized remote and onsite services for LA overseas customers. Goal is to enable customers to implement and operate their SAP solutions at their maximum potential with optimal TCO and to manage their technical risks during solution implementation and operation.

  • Provide first class remote and on-site support to our customers like;
    - solving technical problems;
    - optimization of solution operation;
    - improvement of system availability and stability;
    - onsite support in critical customer situations (going live, upgrade, etc.)
  • Customer project evaluation and risk mitigation of implementation projects;
  • Backoffice support for onsite service delivery;
  • Increasing overall customer satisfaction;
  • Act on Escalated customers to bring their businesses to normal operations;
  • Reduce customer's TCO by Enterprise Support, ActiveAttention and MaxAttention Services.

 

Responsibilities

  • Understand and analyze the technical requirement for SAP system maintenance events and technical architecture
  • Planning for SAP maintenance projects like S/4HANA system conversion, migrate to Cloud, HANA migration, release upgrade, etc.
  • Execution of SAP maintenance projects as technical lead
  • Execution of SAP maintenance projects with downtime minimization technology like ZDO (Zero Downtime Option), NZDT (Near-Zero Downtime Technology), etc.
  • Support customer-led or partner-led projects with planning, empowering or safeguarding services

 

Qualifications

  • Good understanding and experience with SAP general Basis for system administration.
  • Good understanding and experience with Operation Systems (Linux, AIX, etc.) and Databases (HANA, Oracle, DB2, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP Software Logistics tools is a plus, like SUM, DMO, SWPM, etc.
  • Experience with Hyperscaler is a plus, like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Experience in SAP projects as technical lead or project manager is a plus.
  • Strong skills of root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both verbal and written English.
  • A real team player with initiative and 'can do' attitude who learns and adapts quickly in an international environment.
  • Being able to work under pressure, in critical situations and under tight deadlines.

Language

English – Fluent in both spoken and written English (Mandatory)

Spanish – Good and effective in spoken Spanish (Optional)

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline.

 

Professional Training & Certification

  • Any SAP related certification like S4HCON, HANATEC, TADM55, TADM70 is a plus.
  • Any Hyperscaler certification like AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus.
  • PMP certification and /or other industry and project management certification is a plus.
