As a Senior Quality Specialist, you have the opportunity to accelerate the innovation and delivery of the SAP Procurement products.  You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to expand the SAP Procurement solutions to cover every corner of the globe.  You will have the opportunity to work on internet scale level problems and complex business problems.  You will work with Java, HANA, Hadoop, and SAP Cloud technologies. To succeed in this position, you must be incredibly smart, passionate about the user experience and be very results-oriented to get things done.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•    Analyze product requirements, scope them into implementable technical solutions and design a strategy to test this system.
•    Design and implement Test plans that include unit, functional, regression, system and integration tests based on complete Enterprise SAAS systems.
•    Build innovative automation systems to facilitate both functional and performance testing using various automation tools and infrastructure such as Java, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium and Katalon.
•    Ensure clean code and reliability of the products using a continuous testing and deployment pipeline using Jenkins CI including implementation and execution of unit tests, API tests, regression tests and end-to-end functional user tests.
•    Maintain test automation code consistency and update using version control like Git and Perforce.
•    Research new emerging tools and enhance existing automated test systems.
•    Participate as a Senior Quality Specialist on a scrum team to track progress towards goals and targets and course correct wherever necessary.
•    Identify requirements, design/architect and build tools to generate customer like data in test systems
•    Participate and provide feedback in product requirements review and product architecture discussions
•    Analyze existing test landscapes on on-going basis to optimize usage and reduce usage costs
•    Work closely with operations group, system and DB administrators to coordinate needed resources and facilitate requests made by the QA team.
Minimum Requirements
•    Strong working experience of application development/application QA for web applications is required.
•    Must have strong Java skills.
•    Must have experience in QA testing/methodology
•    Strong knowledge of HANA/Oracle / JVM / OS (Linux/Solaris/AIX)
Preferred Qualifications
•    Proven technical achievement as an individual contributor
•    Proven technical and architect expertise for designing and building/enhancing automation frameworks and tools
•    Excellent automation skills with Java, Junit, TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium, Protractor and Katalon
•    Working knowledge of testing scalable web-serves based on REST/XML/JSON
•    Experience with automating tests (unit, API, library, backend and UI) and frameworks for web, mobile or services platforms
•    Good in Database concepts and hands on experience with PL/SQL
•    Experience in testing SaaS (Software as a service) On-Demand enterprise solutions
•    Experience in Unix/Linux environment
•    Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate detailed technical analysis.
•    Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
