About the Program

SAP’s Returnship Program is a 20 week paid returnship targeting mid-career professionals who've taken a 2+ year career break for caregiving, relocation, or military service. Since 2018, SAP has offered a structured returnship program because we appreciate the skills you offer, the perspective you provide, and the contributions you will make.

As a Sales Enablement Content Specialist within the Sales Enablement department at SAP Concur you will have a variety of overarching responsibilities, that if done successfully will provide big impact back to the business.


This role is focused on supporting and maintaining our library of Enablement assets within our core Sales Enablement Platform. This includes the coordination and organizing of updating lists of content, collaborating with cross functional teams, working with Subject Matter Experts and being part of a larger project team.


In this role, it is crucial that the Content Specialist possess excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to deal with challenges, define strategies, effectively prioritize, and take action.  

The successful candidate will be joining a team on a global stage & need to demonstrate the ability to work well cross functionally and within teams.


Most importantly the content specialist is responsible for supporting the health of the content within our platform for our revenue and revenue supporting roles.


Role Responsibilities

  • Working with SME’s (subject matter experts) to update various assets and documents
  • Maintaining and developing program controls for the platform
  • Reviewing data and taking action on assets that need updating
  • Building and writing content to support Sales Teams
  • Utilization of resources, driving stakeholders support and involvement of invested/interested cross functional parties
  • Working closely with data analyst roles, project managers and program coordinators within the team
  • Updates on progress made and communication on where support is needed

Role Requirements


  • Excellent organization, communication & writing skills – written and verbal – with the ability to work with senior directors & executives across various geographies and functions, comfort in business and technical discussions.
  • Experience working in teams or project teams
  • Ability to plan, strategize and prioritize
  • Ability to build great internal relationships throughout the organization
  • Ability to drive ownership and accountability


Additional Requirements (though not necessary)


  • Previous Sales Enablement and/or Sales experience is a plus
  • Previous writing and or content management experience is a plus
  • Cross-cultural and international working experience
