What You’ll Do

 

The SAP North America Regional Center of Excellence is responsible for demand generation and sales support to drive revenues for both SAP S/4HANA and the SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions for sales organizations in North America. These solutions cover the business needs of Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) and other senior supply chain and manufacturing executives at our customers. This specific role is in support of the West and Canadian Market Units

 

 

  • The solution expert provides senior strategic sales cycle support on SAP Digital Supply Chain (DSC) specific solutions
  • Is responsible for demand generation, pipeline build strategies and development of scale initiatives resulting in increased DSC pipeline, revenue and in elevating SAP’s leadership position in DSC
  • Leverages solutions expertise ensuring business critical & innovative results for both Software and Cloud environments, across multiple industries and customer segments
  • Articulates our competitive advantage for customers and prospects
  • Executes DSC functional business plans by integrating functional and financial objectives
  • May represent SAP externally and internally as Digital Supply Chain subject matter expert
  • Directs identification, development, and execution of targeted sales opportunities; act as key expert in SAP’s DSC portfolio and serves as a primary conduit between Solutions Management, Global and Regional DSC and field sales organizations to oversee, influence and track the execution of key DSC field sales priorities.
  • Leads and executes the Go To Market (GTM) plans for DSC; contributes and validates high-quality business plans which clearly articulate DSC strategy, GTM activities and key execution steps.  This could include areas such as: enablement, launches, ramp-up, solution strategy and roll-in, pricing, investment cases, M&A, strategic partnering. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to provide a customer with a roadmap from their current IT environment to a Cloud environment
  • Act as trusted advisor for customers; a role model for SAP’s values.  Helps customers become best run businesses in their industry.

 

 

What you Bring

 

  • Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise of at least one solution segment of Digital Supply Chain, with an emphasis on manufacturing (e.g. through Solution Management, Sales, Consulting or Business Development roles)
  • SAP product experience and/or 8-15 years prior relevant Digital Supply Chain experience
  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain Planning, MRP, Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, Warehouse Management, Transportation Management and Business Network capabilities,
  • Working knowledge of Cloud in the B2B environment.
  • Extensive customer facing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree from accredited university preferred
