Purpose and Objective:  

Callidus Software Inc. seeks a Product Manager at our San Ramon, CA location responsible for defining and delivering a market leading intelligent sales automation solution.


Expectations and Tasks:

Define the detailed requirements, work with UX to come up with a concept and ensure a successful delivery working closely with the assigned development teams, in a cloud-consumable way and support the information roll-out to customers, partners and field organization. Collaborate closely with other Sales Cloud product management and development teams in different locations. Develop and support the product strategy and product roadmap for intelligent sales execution in SAP Sales Cloud. Translate customer and industry process knowledge into marketable solutions and build realizable and customer-consumable concepts for new development items. Prioritize and maintain the Product and Release Backlog and ensure execution together with the development, user experience and user assistance teams with a focus on integrated processes. Manage alignment with stakeholders especially in other development organizations, Solutions, Field, and partners. Drive customer and partner engagement and work with customers in a close co-innovation environment. Focus on customer adoption of products and new developments. Create an environment of continuous learning, support culture of innovation contributing to the products. Strong desire to build customer-desired solutions and an attitude for co-innovation. Enthusiasm to solve complex problems using state of the art approaches in a cloud development environment. A solution-oriented attitude in a highly innovative and dynamic work environment. Motivation to work in a cross functional team and to interact with other teams on international basis. 10% travel required. 


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience. 


Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Build analytical solutions with scoring models and ML/AI concepts; QA and Exploratory Testing/Testing Automation (Selenium)/Database/SQL; and Apply Agile and Lean Product Development techniques to ensure fast, repeatable, and high value development cycles. Experience must also include 3 years with the following: CRM concepts including account management, contact relationships, activity management; Pipeline Management and Sales Forecasting processes including Sales Funnel, Sales Methodologies, Pipeline metrics, and Forecast accuracy; and Knowledge of SAP Cloud for Customer solution architecture and functionality. 10% travel required.
