<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">ROLE DESCRIPTION:

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Digital Supply Chain (DSC) Business development Senior Specialist  shall provide deep subject matter expertise and content that facilitates the creation of DSC pipeline, and acceleration of deals, in order to achieve our global DSC revenue goals, for on-prem and cloud-based solutions, across the entire product portfolio.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demand Generation – 50% of your time

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">You will be responsible to ensure the DSC Portfolio has strong rolling 4 quarter pipeline for cloud and on-prem solutions, across the entire DSC portfolio, for your specific aligned region and market units.  For weaknesses in this pipeline, you will define and execute a strategy to fix it, that may include any or all the following methodologies:  Physical and digital marketing event creation and support, partner alignment by solution and industry, various types of tele-campaigns, targeted sales plays, thought leadership and solution evangelism through multiple channels such as social media accounts, employee/customer/partner enablement and more.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Demand Management – 30% of your time

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">You are expected to be a deep subject matter expert in the Digital Supply Chain suite of software solutions, and several key industries for your region and market unit.  You will be expected to use this knowledge to support and advance key strategic sales cycles.  You should be able to articulate the DSC strategy, key differentiators for our solutions and value our solutions can provide to the customer.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Other – 20% of your time

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">You will be responsible for the health of our Digital Supply Chain ecosystem strategy, execution, and managing those relationships for our portfolio.   This responsibility will be in coordination with existing supply chain team members and the local market unit partner teams.   You will need to invest time on a weekly basis to continually educate yourself on new releases of the software.  You are the tip of the spear with product knowledge.  You will need to help enable the sales force and partners from time to time.  You are the conduit from the customer back to development and solution management on customer and industry requirements for our products.

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">WORK EXPERIENCE:

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Professional experience with large, multi-national software/IT organizations and with a demonstrated expertise in DSC (e.g. through Solution Management, Sales, Consulting or Business Development roles)

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">SAP product experience and/or 8-10 years prior relevant DSC experience.  - Working knowledge of Cloud in the B2B environment

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Working knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, cloud -based commerce/ business networks

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Viewed as DSC expert across SAP, capable of leveraging an extensive network on behalf of SAP resulting in pipeline and revenue growth

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Proven track record of success in the selected DSC area

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Customer facing experience


<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

 

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Fluency in English, any other language an asset
