Midmarket Solution Advisory organization is part of SAP Industries & Customer Advisory (ICA) function and supports midmarket segment in SAP SEA. Midmarket carries the diversity of Value and Volume opportunities along with a good coverage of customers across multiple industries. We are looking for passionate senior presales professionals with SAP solutions & partner advisory experience and who would like to take on the challenge to align with midmarket strategies and help partners & customers with solution advisory services to enable them to run their businesses better.

 

Hence, we are looking for customer and partner -focused Solution Advisors to strengthen and accelerate momentum across the Mid-Market business via partner advisory function. Presales Partner Advisor is a functional leadership role that works closely and align with Partner Ecosystem Success Organization and Territory Sales Manager. Including engagement with the SAP partner ecosystem.

 

This role requires a senior professional with the expertise and experience to help partner maximize their value to customers and to ensure scale up the business with partner-led transactions and to improve partner engagement quality.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: 

  • Presales Partner Advisor works in partnership with the Partner Ecosystem, Partner Business Management and Territory Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate internally & externally to ensure partner’s success
  • Drives Midmarket revenue & volume with partner ecosystem and help partners progress deals.
  • Supports Partners Business Manager and Territory Sales Mgr. to plan territory achievement via partners
  • Become a trusted advisor for the assigned partners and help partner in deal progression.
  • Support partner coaching session regularly.
  • Coaches and drive our partner for cloud mindset.
  • Provides feedback to Partner Ecosystem Success Organization (via Partner Ecosystem Success Organization) on presales partner improvement areas and push for relevant enablement for flawless execution by partner’s presales.
  • Support Partner Presales Validation Program
  • Demonstrate knowledge of SAP solutions and industries in order to maintain credibility to partner ecosystem

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years of presales or consulting experience
  • 3 -5 years of solution specialist (or equivalent customer facing) experience in areas appropriate to the job
  • Demonstrates 5-7 successful engagements leading small teams on small-mid-sized deals
  • Good understanding about cloud technology
  • Has knowledge of SAP solution:  the features and functionalities
  • Expert knowledge/expertise on end to end processes/solution matching
  • Preferably has experience in SAP consulting or presales in an SAP partner organization
  • Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor necessary
  • Experience in sales and sales processes
  • Experience to articulate business value proposition to CXO 


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills English: proficient, any other language an asset.
  • Bachelor equivalent: minimum requirement
  • Master equivalent: optional
  • MBA / Ph.D.: optional
