Position Overview:

By providing direct access to SAP SuccessFactors solutions, the SAP SuccessFactors Mobile app makes it effortless for employees to engage with HR processes and complete tasks quickly, using the device that is always with them. It makes HR processes available anytime and anywhere. It offers comprehensive features including productivity, time and attendance, talent management, learning, among others.

 

As a Manager for Mobile you will have a number of Android and iOS engineers reporting to you. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Mobile. Your day to day tasks would be to work with your local product manager, peers, UX people and engineers to drive the implementation of the mobile roadmap.

You are expected to drive the team to excellence by training and mentoring engineers in development methodologies as well as drive the quality of the code of your engineers and the delivery of Unit and Automation testcases associated with your team’s code.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Android and/or iOS
  • Good understanding of Unit testing, Espresso/XCUI and Mobile Automation Test and CI/CD for Mobile
  • Good in Modern Mobile Architecture as well as software design patterns to ensure the productivity, maintainability and scalability
  • Experienced in driving good practices, code reviews and mentor people
  • Excellent in project management, leadership, people skills and feedback conversations.
  • Excellent in Oral and written communication as well as feeling confident presenting to peers and leadership people.
  • Ability and experience in driving project both local and with remote resources to successful results.
  • Experience working with dependencies towards other teams and using influence towards further advancing your teams goals and success.

 

Nice to have

  • Working knowledge of backend technologies
  • Android, iOS, Ruby, Java, HTML5, CSS3, and other mobile frameworks/accelerators
  • Experienced in cloud application and understand the cloud operation model; expertise in public cloud is a plus
  • Coding experience and abilities in iOS or Android
