YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Are you interested in diverse and balanced technical activities with direct contact to our customers, either remote or on the customer’s premises? We offer a position where you can act as

  • a trusted advisor for our customers within the premium segment with focus on SAP HANA Database on premise and cloud.
  • architect with focus on planning customers’ IT infrastructure and solution design in the domain of HANA Database and ETL tools like SDA
  • an technical expert consultant in helping to analyze and solve complex performance related issues
  • a team player working together face to face with customer and with experts from other SAP departments to support and guide our customer end to end in solution design, enablement on products and tools, and operations topics in the context of HANA Database management.

 

We are looking for an open-minded expert  (f/m/d) with a high degree of initiative to complement our team to ensure our customers' success.

 

YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree (bachelor/master/PhD) in computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering or comparable fields
  • Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
  • Good communication skills in constructive and open style within team and customer-facing environments; fluent in German and English
  • Strong analytical and logical skills, ability to quickly acquire thorough understanding in innovative technologies
  • Be passionate about staying current on fast-changing IT landscape and technologies and be confident to suggest new innovative ways to drive customer success. 
  • Expert Know-how and Work Experience in databases – optimal in SAP HANA DB on premise or via SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and components and tools like SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Smart Data Integration (SDI) or SAP Landscape Transformation Server (SLT). 
  • Programming Skills (preferable SAP ABAP, Python, SQL or  SQL Script)
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers and work abroad in customer projects

Especially the definition of IT architecture and infrastructure including advanced sizing estimations is a high demand from our customers in their transformation of their IT landscape, e.g. in their journey towards cloud deployments.
